Started in the 80s, the Greenwich Food Pantry has now expanded to a weekly service and strives to offer as much fresh and  healthy food as possible, with lots of the fresh food coming from farms in our community. If you or someone you know need a little help with your monthly grocery bills, come see us.

Day and Hours: Wednesdays, 9 – 11 A.M. and 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Eligible guests can attend as often as once per week.

Location: St. Joseph’s Hall at 31 Hill St., Greenwich, NY 12834

Eligibility: Must be a resident of the Greenwich School District. (follow this link and check the “school district” box in the table of contents to look up your address). You do not need to be receiving any form of government benefit – we know that income doesn’t tell the whole story.

Selection: We follow the NYS Hunger Prevention and Nutrition Program’s guidelines for three days worth of meals (click here to view their chart). Food selection includes meat, dairy, fresh bread and produce, and a range of non-perishable food items.  Non-food selection includes important household staples such as paper products, personal hygiene items, feminine hygiene, household cleaning products and more.
